Your time warming up with Riff Master 1 should have helped you hone your skills so that you can compete in this new multiplayer version. All of the songs are nearly twice as long as those on Riff Master 1; plus, they are also more challenging. It makes Riff Master 2 tough to beat.
Instead of just competing for a high score, Riff Master 2 allows you and your friends to play together. However, this makes the game much more difficult because there are multiple buttons being pushed on both sides of the screen. Even though you're playing together, at the end of each round, you'll see your individual scores, which gives your group a chance to compete for bragging rights.
In fact, your group of friends can play for hours - until you get tired, or booed off the stage!
